Parents who procrastinate getting a will or trust leave behind very unintended consequences, not the least of which is that a Court will decide who raises their kids.
A living trust is an inexpensive way to take this critically important decision out of the hands of a judge. There are countless other reasons as well, including choosing who gets your assets when you die (rather than relying on centuries old "intestate succession" laws which may result in your assets being distributed to a relative with whom you have little or no relationship).
Don't wait, do it now, it's too important to put off!!!
